Dr. Andrew Sulkowski is the Clinic Director at Totum Life Science – a  multidisciplinary clinic staffed by physiotherapists, chiropractors, athletic therapists, registered massage therapists, nutritionists, and a naturopath. His professional experience includes working as a member of the core medical team for the Canadian and Ontario Soccer Associations and the Canadian Professional Soccer League. He has worked with several professional and recreational sport organizations including athletes from Tennis Canada, USTA, NCAA, NHL, MLS, CPSL, CSA and OSA.  

Dr. Sulkowski graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and also holds an honours degree in kinesiology from McMaster University. His professional designations include being a certified Active Release Technique provider, a certified acupuncture provider and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  

  LISA SMUSKOWITZ, HBSc, MScPT

Lisa is an energetic hands-on physiotherapist whose passion for fitness and sport is a driving force in her rehab sessions. Lisa graduated from the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program at University of Toronto after completing her Honours Bachelor of Science degree with Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Lisa has been practicing as a registered physiotherapist specializing in athletic injuries and has continued to expand her education with courses in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Sport First Response and Custom Orthotic Therapy and Gait Analysis. Lisa is also certified in Standard First Aid and basic athletic taping.

Lisa’s approach to assessment and treatment employ her educational and clinical experiences to effectively treat injury as well as analyze the biomechanical contributing factors to injury development and prevention in sport and the workplace. She places a large emphasis in practice on current research and has been published in her research on the analysis of reaction times.

Outside of her clinical practice, Lisa enjoys providing physiotherapy coverage to a wide range of athletic events. Lisa’s passion for physical therapy stems from her love of participation in fitness and sport and she enjoys following clients from the sideline, through rehab, and back into their game! Lisa still competes locally in tennis and basketball and when off-court, she can usually be found training, running and cycling.

  Tara Postnikoff, Hon B.A., RNCP/ROHP, CNP, NCCP

Summary: Tara is a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, specializing in Sports Nutrition, a Triathlon Coach and a certified Personal Trainer. A personal lifestyle change and a growing interest in nutrition led her to leave the corporate world and pursue her career in nutrition and fitness full-time.

Education Tara graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition achieving First Class Honors and a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition. She is a member in good standing of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC). Tara also holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minor in Biology from McMaster University. Tara is trained as an NCCP Triathlon Coach- Intro to Comp and is certified with CanFitPro as a Personal Trainer Specialist and is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach.

Experience: Tara has been a practicing nutritionist and trainer since 2006 and as a triathlon coach since 2010. She is also a regular contributor for many publications and guest speaker for many organizations.

Passion: Food and exercise is your medicine! Tara loves working with fitnessminded individuals, weekend warriors, and competitive athletes looking to train harder and perform better through natural nutrition and active lifestyles.

Achievements: Completed over 22 half marathons, 4 marathons, 6 half Ironman’s and 1 Ironman. Tara routinely reaches the podium in her age group in short course triathlon and has qualified for the ITU World Championships (Olympic distance) three times.

Goals: As a practitioner, coach and trainer Tara’s goals are to make nutrition health and fitness accessible to everyone. As an athlete Tara’s goals are to continually push herself and pursue new challenges while being true to her values.

      Katie Snowden

Katie Snowden graduated from McMaster University in 2011 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy after completing a four year undergraduate degree at Lake Forest College in Chicago, Illinois, on a running and ice hockey scholarship.

As an elite marathon runner and Ironman triathlete, Katie finds joy in carrying out a challenging career that combines the two great passions of her life, sports and medicine. Since graduating, Katie has become certified in acupuncture from AFCI and is in pursuit of completing her credentials in manual therapy. She also specializes in running gait assessments, as well as the assessment and treatment of concussions.

Katie places tremendous value on the delivery of a thorough assessment and treatment of injuries. She is interested in rehabilitative training and therapy to promote and re-establish patient wellness in all facets of life.
