Dear NTSC Coaches, Parents, and Players:                      

We invite you and your team to participate in a special opportunity to do something great for other kids—locally and around the world-- and for the environment by joining in:the NTSC Uniform Buddies Used Uniform Donation Program.

The objective of this program is to gather 100+ full (or nearly full) sets of NTSC team uniforms and donate them to kids who play soccer—but can’t afford to purchase their own uniforms—thereby helping out others and reducing wastefulness by reusing barely used sets of new uniforms.

It’s EASY to participate--but you need to REGISTER NOW!!

Here’s how:

Steps To Registration:

1)  Talk to your players and their parents, and decide if YOUR team would like to get involved (everyone must be willing to donate their jersey and socks—coaches too).  The point here is to gather FULL—or nearly full sets for a whole team to use.  

*Please note that we focus on full sets of jerseys and socks.  We will also take shorts.  We do NOT take shin pads or cleats.  We also do not take individual shirts.

2)  Email David MacLeod (Volunteer Soccer Coach) to RESERVE your spot. home e-mail: dtmacleod@ca.inter.net               

3)  Once your team has secured a spot, the Uniform Buddies Team will get in touch with you regarding collection/drop-off of the uniforms.

Objectives of the Used Uniform Donation Program

1)  Help children from disadvantaged communities by providing them with soccer uniforms.  

2)  Reduce the economic and environmental wastefulness of purchasing uniforms that are used only for a few months.  

3)  Help our own children develop a sense of responsibility for reducing waste and sharing with disadvantaged children in less fortunate communities around the world.

4)  Increase our children’s awareness of the international character of soccer and how a love for the game extends to every part of the world and is something we can all have in common.  

Uniform Buddies relies on people who are traveling to take uniforms to soccer organizations world-wide that otherwise would not be able to have full team uniforms.

We have lots of contacts who want uniforms.  We will NEED people to deliver them.
