PLAYER REGISTRATION

 

Before You Register:

You Are the Club! - North Toronto Soccer Club relies on your involvement to provide a great soccer experience for our children. Over 700 recreational program volunteers helped in the 2012 season! We expect that at least one parent from each family will volunteer for some aspect of the program, be it coaching, parent liaison or assistance with special events. Volunteer opportunities are explained in more detail here. Please indicate your volunteer role preferences in the parent contact portion of the registration system.

We care about our childrens’ safety - This is not a drop-off program. Our volunteers and technical staff cannot be responsible for supervising children – please ensure your young children are never left alone at the field.  

We care about player safety – All players must wear shinguards and (U6 and older) soccer cleats, and no jewelry of any kind is permitted, including pierced earrings.

We respect our fields – We offer soccer to so many North Toronto youth only through the co-operation of parks and schools. To continue these positive partnerships, please note the following:

  • water only (no other snacks) at the artificial turf fields
  • no dogs are allowed on or around any school field at any time

We sponsor players from the community who would otherwise be unable to participate, approximately 100 players each season in cooperation with the TDSB and social service agencies. This is made possible by NTSC families who contribute an extra amount ($50, $100 or $200) when registering their own children.

We encourage new friendships – Our team rosters are randomly generated and balanced based on player ratings and ages, the only exceptions being siblings in the same age group and the children of 2 co-coaches per team. Special teaming requests cannot be accepted.

Player Fees:

Fees cover the costs of uniforms, a ball for every player, team photos, registration fees*, insurance, certified referees (U6 and older), technical staff support, fields, equipment, and finals day Festival & Cup.     

Spring Season (May and June)

2008, 2009      $160 if registered by March 11; $190 on March 12 or later

1995 to 2007    $210 if registered by March 11;  $240 on March 12 or later

Summer Season (July-September)

All players:     $190 if registered by May 6; $220 on May 7 or later

A $10 family discount applies to the 2nd and subsequent registrations (i.e. more than one child and/or both seasons)


Online Registration:

After you have had an opportunity to learn about the program and policies, and have decided to proceed with registration:

  • Click HERE to enter the registration site.
  • Input or review and update your family contact information; please be sure to include current information for 2 parents/family members.
  • For each registration, select the program and season (spring or summer) and provide other information as requested.
  • Read and acknowledge acceptance of the NTSC participation agreement.
  • Make payment by credit card through the secure payment website.  (If the program has a wait list, the system will not ask for your credit card information).
