Academy Mission Statement

At the North Toronto Soccer Academy, our ultimate goal is to successfully combine organization, coaching excellence and a mutual desire to unearth the limitless potential in each of our young players. We strive to create an elusive balance between the coaching of elite level soccer skills, techniques and tactics with the quest to instil a sense of professionalism, leadership and confidence in all our participants. The term ‘academy’ is indicative of a higher standard of training, performance, delivery and achievement. In our pursuit of coaching excellence, the coaching staff at the North Toronto Academy has developed a detailed curriculum and developmental philosophy that is designed to help our young players realise their potential in a challenging and rewarding environment.  

Through a holistic development model, we seek to deliver an intensive program that aims to strengthen core skills such as ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, heading, as well as focusing on creativity, individual expression and decision making in game scenarios. It is our steadfast belief that young players who are encouraged to express their own natural ability, to trust in their technique and who are comfortable making mistakes shall achieve a greater level of ball mastery. Through the commitment and passion of our coaching staff, we believe that we have designed a summer program which will allow the aspiring young players of today to become the Canadian soccer stars of tomorrow.
